The project moved from the initial discovery meeting to final delivery in just 14 weeks, leaving little room for a conventional custom design process. At the same time, the playground needed to integrate cleanly with the landscape architecture while meeting accessibility goals and maintaining Duncan & Grove's manufacturing standards.
Real Life adapted Duncan & Grove's Forest Tower into a site-specific play experience by connecting the structure directly to the park's sculpted berm with an accessible bridge. Acting as the link between the landscape architect and manufacturer, the team coordinated grading, structure, and fabrication so the playground felt like a natural extension of the landscape rather than a piece of equipment placed within it.
